It serves as the first point of contact for employees to reach out for help and report any incidents of harassment or abuse they may face.

Frequently asked Questions about the I’m Safe App

Q: How is I’m Safe app different from the Kavalan App by the government?

A: While Kavalan is a free government-run app for Tamil Nadu, I’m Safe is a private app that is available for free for users worldwide.

Q: How can users activate the SOS button quickly in an emergency situation?

A: We are constantly improving the app to provide users with multiple ways to activate the SOS button quickly and easily. We are working on voice recognition activation, and we already have a Bluetooth device that can trigger the SOS with just one click. We are also considering activating SOS through GPS tracking devices and long-pressing the power button.

Q: We already have SOS triggers, tracking through Google Maps, and fake call apps on our phones. Why do we need an app like this?

A: While it’s true that many phones come with emergency features, having an all-in-one app with all the emergency features can be more convenient and specific to the user’s needs. With I’m Safe, users don’t have to search around for different apps during an emergency. They can have all the necessary emergency features in one easy-to-use app.

Q: How does the situation unfold if the offender either damages or steals the phone?

A: In such cases, the encrypted photos and audio files remain intact and can still be accessed by logging into your account from another device or by using a new SIM card with the same number.
